It is an established fact that education is catalyst for socio-economic transformation. To enhance India’s social economical development, an upliftment & empowerment of farmers is necessary. Our farmer needs quality inputs that can be fetched with his limited amount of capital resources. It is his presents need to develop & conserve the water resources, to divert water to dry land & to work in the field with advanced machines.

          This underlines the importance of advanced technologies in the field of Agriculture. Besides this it is challenge before us to prepare our farmer to exploit the wide range of soil & climatic conditions available in India for diversifications of our Agriculture production. All this can be achieved by educating our rural youth in Agricultural Engineering & Horticulture. In this regard we have established Pad. Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology & College of Agriculture at Talsande.

          Our Institute works for education which will help to build up qualified & creative work force that can adopt new technology & advanced knowledge in such a way that economic development goes hand in hand with responsible management of human & ecological resources in the field of Agriculture.
